Buying your ticket

Purchasing a ticket couldn't be easier. All trams have conductors who sell most single, day and weekly tickets tickets. Please try to tender the correct fare and keep your ticket to hand. We can carry up to 250 passengers on a tram and it's not always easy for the conductor to remember who he or she has seen. We also have regular inspections by senior members of staff who may also ask to see your ticket.

Adult single fares

£1.20p City Centre single -  Valid for a single journey between the following tramstops, Granville Road, The University of Sheffield and Hyde Park. £1.40, £1.70, £2.10, £2.30 and £2.70 singles. Single adult tickets increasing in price according to the distance travelled.

Extra information

  • Single tickets are valid for 1 hour from time of purchase for travelling away from the boarding location.
